A VSSA Newsletter will be published four times during the 2005/2006 school year. The purpose of the newsletter is to provide a source of communication from the board to the members, to provide topical information (e.g. upcoming events, registration information, etc.) and to provide members with helpful articles that offer insight about common concerns (e.g. practice tips, audition tips, etc.). Also there is a Classified Ad section for the use of VSSA members.
Input is welcomed about subjects you would like to have covered in the Newsletter, or calendar events such as concerts in the area, studio recitals, or individual book recitals. A free Classified Ad section is also available for use by VSSA members. If you wish to sell or give away a used instrument (if selling, include your name, instrument and size, price, and contact information), shoulder rest, black and white performance outfit, reading book, or other appropriate item, make your submission to our Newsletter Coordinator.
All newsletter submissions should be made according
to the following schedule:
August 17 for the August 27th newsletter
September 28 for the October 8 newsletter
January 11 for the January 21st newsletter
February 15th for the February 25th newsletter.
